The Jinhao’s Wordy Ghost Giveaway

I have some unused stationery items laying around that ought to go to a proper home. Perhaps you fancy a Jinhao 992, a Word pocket notebook, and a sample of Noodler’s Blue Ghost invisible ink? Read on for a chance to win — and I won’t even make you say “Trick or Treat!”

To enter:

  • You must be a US resident. (Apologies to my non-US friends.)
  • Leave a comment on this post below.
  • If you follow this blog on wordpress.com, or are subscribed with a feed reader, mention it for an extra entry. (And thank you for reading!)

Entries must be received by Monday, October 30, 2017 at 23:59 PST. Winner will be announced on Tuesday, October 31, 2017.

Here’s a lot of fine print. Giveaway open to individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry, who reside in the United States. Maximum two (2) entries per person. One (1) winner will be selected by random drawing. Winner will be notified by email. If the winner fails to reply to the winner’s notice with one (1) week of announcement, an alternate winner will be drawn from the remaining entries. Prizes offered do not imply an endorsement from this blog; in the case of Noodler’s, this giveaway is an un-endorsement because I can’t stand that brand and refuse to use it. Prizes are awarded as-is, with no warranty express or implied. Winner agrees to release this blog from any and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind resulting from their participation in this giveaway or their acceptance, use or misuse of prize including, without limitation, personal injury, death and property damage. Email addresses collected as part of the entry process will be deleted after the giveaway is concluded. Good luck, have fun.

Kaküno on a Jet Plane?

Between this weekend’s eclipse festivities and getting ready for an imminent trip to Europe, I didn’t get a chance to write a full post this week. Instead, take a look at this little gem that arrived at the post office today:

So fresh, so clear.

I’d been debating whether or not to take any fountain pens with me because I don’t want to deal with the hassle of leaking ink, but now I’m thinking about taking this one. I can just toss the cartridge before my flight home.

It would definitely be nice to have a fountain pen along, as I’m bringing my Hobonichi with me, along with the Traveler’s Notebook I use to document my various adventures.

Speaking of adventures, if you have any favorite places in Paris, France, I’d be delighted to hear of them.
